anyway...today's a really tiring day having to wake up at 6 when i've been waking up at like 8plus 9 the past few days.. and PLUS the sun shining like shen jing bing...it just saps ur energy and makes u wanna doze off.. thank God floorball was for guys today so i didnt have to go *smiles* ..came straight home after mr tan decided to be "NICE to u [us]" and released us SEVEN minutes earlier.. WOWWww..haha..
but came home and had a nice surprise when i found out that my grandaunt who lives in UK is in town for a visit. (today was the FIRST time i met her my whole 17 years) MY! she's SUPER DUPER cool..her accent is pleasant and she's so funky!
cos she needed to go to changi beach club cos her friend had a chalet..so she was asking me where it was..and i said..very far in the east...if u take a cab..it'll probably be quite expensive..maybe about $20 odd..then she went,(in her cool accent of course) "oh! to us in london..$20 is sup sup shui "and flashed a cheeky grin. oh my when i heard it i was like.."woah!" the way she said it was NOT at all trying to bia jia zi..but it was so wei feng! oh my! i have a COOL grandaunt.
then later we talked abit..found out she works for the commonwealth office in London and she's in charge of some accounts stuff..like they collect money from the 53 commonwealth nations and distribute it to the poorer nations to help them..her job sounds so cool larh! and the best thing is she gets to TRAVEL!! then she told me about her experiences but when she talked about the shantytowns in South Africa and how terrible the living conditions were..she started tearing! so cute larh!
but our conversation ended quite abruptly cos she was chased to go bathe cos they were going for some dinner at some restaurant with the older generation ppl =/
ahh! i want her to stay longer!too bad she's leavin in 2 days time to go to hongkong then perth to visit her brother(whom i have never met before either) then back to KL where the family and her other brother lives then finally back to London where she lives..rahhhhhhhh! i'm so gonna miss her.she's so funky! oh but she said that if i go to UK to study..then i could stay with her!! hahaha! added motivation to work hard and get a scholarship to study there *grinz*
